Lovin' This Look!

I’ve heard different reports on Johnny’s look at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month. Some people absolutely loved it. Others totally trashed it.

Personally, though, I’m lovin’ this look.

Why? Because it matches the web site. LOL! How subtle yet sly of him to color-coordinate with Depp Impact, like his own little ‘tip of the hat’ to all the fine folks who hang out here.

We get you, Johnny. *wink wink*

What we don’t get, apparently, is The Libertine — at least not when it was promised. This is, what, round six on release dates from the Weinstein Company?

They almost had me believing the January 13th date. They set it weeks in advance and managed not to change it — that in itself was a major feat. They nearly had me convinced, and then the day before, BOOM! No Libertine, no explanation, and no idea when we might actually get to see the daggone thing.

So it went from the 13th to “sometime in January”. And now, with January nearly over, we might have lift-off for the 27th… or maybe the 28th… but only if you’re in a major metropolitan area… after dark… on a Tuesday…

At this rate, I’ll believe it’s going to open when I’m drooling into my popcorn bucket in the middle of a darkened cinema and not a moment before.
