Johnny & Tim Together Again
Kimberly discovered this morning that Imdb.com has added “Sweeney Todd” to Johnny’s filmography, announced for a 2008 release. He’s listed in the role of Benjamin Barker/Sweeney Todd, with Tim Burton as the director. It’s also interesting to note that Sam Mendes (Kate Winslet’s husband) is listed as producer. Maybe we’ll be seeing Kate in this one, too? Never can tell.

Johnny in a musical. This should be really, really interesting.
Of all the musicals out there, this is absolutely the one most suited for a J/T collaboration, and he always says he’ll do anything Tim Burton asks him to do. Hopefully that means we actually get to hear him sing this time, unlike “Cry-Baby” where we were teased with someone else’s voice.
