The Irish Examiner is reporting that Lily-Rose, daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, is very ill and has been hospitalized for more than a week.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Depp family, and best wishes to Lily-Rose for a speedy recovery.

My thoughts are with the Depp family. Get well soon Lily-Rose. My three grandchildren had pneumonia recently, each in turn were in the hospital. It was a terrible time. Thank goodness for modern medicine and living in the west where most of us have access to medical help. I’m sure Lily-Rose is in good hands.

This is really sad that this has happened to poor Lily-Rose, I was really shocked when I heard this. it moves me to see how many of us truly care about our dearest johnny. we are not feverishly obsessing over him, but we truly do care. like one big happy family. i think that it is a strong love that is in the Depp family, and that lily-rose will survive just because of the love in that family. my heart goes out to them all. i really do hope it is nothing too seriouse. one can only hope.

My thoughts, tears, and prayers are falling for Johnny & Vanessa as I hear about this grave illness that has befallen little Lily-Rose. It brings back memories of my own son being very ill and hospitalized, and I know how hard that can be for a parent. You want so bad to make it all well; you feel like you are supposed to make it all well. This should remind us all of how very human Johnny is….and what he must be going through inside right now. I know all his true fans are praying for a speedy recovery; I just hope the stupid papparazzi can find it in their hearts to leave this issue alone. I am an admirer of JC Depp II - and keep this to myself, mostly. Yet the news of the lil’girl being ill, makes me soft inside, and need to share with others. Especially because I’ve read and believe his children (and his first!) mean the world to him. Just yesterday, I looked at a video where Vanessa talks about him and the kiddies, and you can hear Lily’s voice taped in one of her songs. I felt like calling it: “Lily Rose’s Melody” (I sort of amused myself with that). Also I’d like to congratulate all of you today on International Woman’s Day, and ask of you the same compassion and solidarity that you show for this child - FOR EVERYONE WHO COMES CLOSE TO YOU IN YOUR LIFE - THAT IS TRULY ALL THAT MATTERS!

My heart sank when I heard the news of Lily-Rose and then to check the internet for confirmation that it wasn’t a rumor just wretched my heart even more.
Being a mother of a child close to Lily-Rose’s age and a devoted fan to Johnny, I can only imagine what he and Vanessa are going through at this horrifying moment.
I pray that Lily-Rose pulls through with a quick recovery. I must trust on the instinct that children, though vulnerable, are most valiant even in the weakest of times. Lily-Rose, if she is anything like my Alyssa, headstrong and determined; will accomplish winning the battle against what ails her.
May God be with the entire Depp/Paradis family during this trying time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I sincerely hope all is well with Lily Rose. I also have a 7 year old daughter and just thinking about anything happening to her is terrifying. My other daughter was also very ill when she was younger so I understand what it’s like to go through an experience like the one the Depp Family is. Have faith Johnny.

From someone who has been sick most my life and been hospitalized many time, many tims as well as spending time in ICU, I can tell you how important having “mom and dad” there at the hospital with you is. I’ve also seen how difficult it is on the parents. There is nothing easy about any of this. But, the one good thing is that God is there with you watching over Lily-Rose and you. She is in my prayers as are you, Vanessa, and Jack. I heard a report that Lily-Rose was improving. I do hope that is true. She remains in my thoughts and prayers. God bless all of you during this time of trouble.

As I understand it,(but you know how gossip is) Young Miss Depp has had a serious kidney infection. As a nurse, that is always a serious condition. If she was on dialysis, it was VERY serious. She has improved according to STAR MAG. and is staying with her mom and dad in a local hotel. As a nurse I can say that Doctors DO NOT know everything. This misdiagnosis could have cost this little girl her life. My next phone call would be to an attorney to get their licences revoked. Aside from that, cranberry/mix is a good daily regime to keep bacteria at bay for the plubming to work well. God bless and protect you all.
