I loved it - went back today - you must stay until the very end of the credits - as with Pirates 1 and 2 there is something extra - something I had already figured out but nonetheless good to see. I do think there could have been more of Captain Jack but of course I would say that! Everyone had stellar performances - Davey Jones, Bootstrap - even Keith Richards was perfect! Can't wait to get the video - Must go again!!! Val, NJ

I did see it! I thought it was very good. Not as good as Pirates 1, though. The storyline was more complex and varied. It had lots of twists and turns that you wouldn't expect which was good cause it kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning to the very end.

The actors really gave their best selves! The special effects blew my mind. The CG team did a great job.

Johnny outdid himself. Crazier than ever. I particularly liked the sequences where he talked to his many other selves! lol. Talk about talent! My favorite scene?? the one when he talks to his 'father' aka Keith Richards. "How's mum?" (Keith showing a skulp) "Oh, great!" LMAOOO!

I felt so sorry about Will! And Elizabeth! our hearts realy sunk at that moment. My friend, Dora, said that there must be Pirates 4 to fix this up!
Wishful thinking!!!

So, a good movie all around! I'm going to see it once more! I want to see what's after the final titles.

I liked POTC AT WORLD'S END better than DEAD MAN'S CHEST, but nothing beats the oringial POTC CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL. In At World's End, it was difficult for a time to tell who was on whose side and who was fighting whom, but all in all, it was still very entertaining.

I loved it!- if there really isn't going to be a 4th, then At World's End answered all your questions. I love that it stilll has me thinking and figuring out why certain things had to happen. Destiny.

For sure I'm watching it again and again.

I enjoyed this movie, seeing all the Captain Jacks was funny. Captain Teague was so cool, and had an intimidating presence which I thought made him the best Pirate there...lol (sorry Capt Jack, but he is your father)
It was nice seeing Capt Barbossa again as well as "Jack the monkey" they were quite entertaining as well.
The ending was a bit sad...I hope that we see Captain Jack again, and Captain Teague...ya just never know eh?!?!

I'd like to watch this movie again!
It was super, really very exciting, wonderful film thanks to its beautiful music, special effects and, of course, Captain Jack Sparrow!

I've watched POC 1,but I haven't seen the second part of the film so at the beginning I didn't understand everything. And I had to ask my friend about who is who and what they all do.

And I'd like to note many funny moments of the movie.Among fights, storms, magic, and intricate connectons between the characters there's many funny jokes that make all the cinema theatre laugh! This kind of humour is really good, true but, sadly infrequent in many contemporary films where all the jokes are repulsive, disgusting, these "comedies" for some fools!

Good work of the director, screenwriters, all the actors and the coposer of Pirates.Johnny was the star of all the film.Nobody could be better on this role than Johnny Depp!
Well done!

I have seen it twice and in the last three days and I loved it, so packed with so much to make it worth watching again quite a few times - I love the fact that it is long and complex - all the actors are great in it specially Johnny of course.

I loved it!!! =D It was fantastic. The actors really did a great job, they did their best preformances in this movie, according to me. And Johnny... oh my, fabulous as usual!! =D I just love when he says "We must fight - to run away!" His facial expression is so wonderfully perfect!! I HAVE TO SEE IT AGAIN!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE DVD!!!!!!!!!!! <3<3<3

I saw the movie on the 23rd. It was everything I had expected and more. I was definitely not disappointed.
Some of the plot twists were things I had already guessed, but most of the movie was a complete surprise for me.
Johnny Depp definitely was giving everything he has to make Jack even more complex as a character. I don't think there's going to be a Pirates 4 though, the ending wrapped everything together so effectively.

I thought POTC:AWE was awsome! Didn't you just tingle with excitment as the ships where swirling in the malestrom?(new word I just learned)
What a fantastic ending to a great trilogy. If you haven't seen it yet I defenitely reccomend that you take it in a.s.a.p., you won't be disapointed.
The acting was super. The humor intersperced thoughout the movie was very understandable, the whole theatre was laughing, grown men, women as well as the children. And the visuals were spectacular, the most amazing I've ever seen, and I've seen many as a science fiction fan.
In actuality, even if you are not a POTC fan, it is worth going to see this movie just for the visual effects.
I must admit that the first time I went to see it I was a bit confused about who was scamming who but each time I went to see it, I was more in awe of the superb plot lines. I've seen it 3 times so far. My kids think I'm obsessed! I agree. I'm obsessed with the POTC adventure in a way that I haven't been since the first 3 Star Wars trilogy.
My hats off to Disney! You've managed to bring back the awe that I had when I watched Disney films as a child.

Seen it twice in 3 days. If I could keep my mind off the special effects and action, and concentrate on the plot twists and hidden agendas, and dealmaking by everyone, (which is near impossible), the story wouldn't jump around. The cinematography is drop dead gorgeous, if it doesn't get an Oscar nod, I'll be POFF.The CGI astronomical,(ILM as usual). The set and art direction OOOHWEE.The music and choreography of the fight scenes, and that last whopping 40-50 mins. into the maelstrom, geez, knocks the crap out of Spidey. KUDOS ALL AROUND. My favorite is Johnnys' conservations with himself, the answers he gives, just hilarious.I don't really worry about the length because this is DISNEY & JOHNNY AT THEIR BEST!!

Saw it twice in a row yesterday, and I loved it. POTC1 will always be the best, but AWE was really good. I'll be going to see it again. One of the best parts...between Jack and Barbossa when they were talking about the world they were in. And, think the ending left it open for another in the future: Barbossa seeing Jack had "won again" with the map, the look between Gibbs & Jack before Jack "sails off" with the map and a new flag... Just really enjoyed it, and can't wait to see it again. Maybe today......

It did keep me interested from start to finish, but I think more could have been done with Davey Jone's locker. It was a bit of a non-event. Jack could have interacted on a deeper level with his other selves. I found the dialogue in this sequence a bit shallow. No fault of Johnny's. He was superb as usual.

For me there wasn't enough of Jack and he seemed to be a bit of a side character, with the main characters driving the action being Elizabeth and Barbosa. So that was disappointing.

The effects were amazing, but for me I'm not into long battle scenes, so it depends on what you are into. There were some very funny bits in it and Jack was wonderful as usual. I did enjoy the movie and will get it on DVD and watch it over again and again. Often I find I appreciate movies more viewing them in the comfort of my home. I often get stuff I missed when I saw them for the first time in the movie theatre.

Keith Richards was amazing. I'd forgotton he was going to be in it so when he appeared he took my breath away. He wasn't on screen long enough and I think much more could have been made of his relationship with Jack. I found that very disappointing.

So all in all a good movie which didn't fail to entertain but lacked the spirit and magic of the first two, for me at least. Everyone to their own and all that.

I enjoyed it but thought it was too long, the jokes too obvious and Johnny's talents generally wasted.

I hope he does not revisit the role -- he's capable of much deeper roles than the one-note Captain Jack. Don't get me wrong, I like the character but I think the producers Disneyfied Captain Jack in the last two - cleaned him up and made him a cardboard image of the rogue we came to love in the first movie.

After all of that negativity, there were definitely parts I liked. I liked the way Elizabeth found out about the death of her father and Tia Dalma's pronouncement that she could not change his death because he had made peace with it. The conversation between Hector & Jack at the demise of the Kraken was poignant. The eyeball being Barbossa's piece of eight was also really a classic twist!

I loved the twist towards the end and actually started crying. I loved seeing a softer side of Jack also. Need to see it again!!! I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!

POTC3 was brilliant. We loved the bit where one of the captain Jacks was all barnacled like a member of Davy Jones' crew. He was still hot!
'Nobody move, I think I've dropped me brain!"
Scenes must have been cut because a picture of Captain Jack in a Chinese style outfit was in the Daily Mirror(UK) It was weird seeing him in other clothes.Hope these scenes are extras on the DVD.
Good to see the prison dog is OK too. Sea turtles! Yay! No eunuch refs though - shame!
Disney MUST make POTC4. The stage is set.

I saw the movie twice this weekend, once by myself, and another time with my kids. I've got to say, the first time I watched it I was disappointed. I didn't find "witty Jack" nearly as witty as previous movies. Before I took my kids to see it, we had a Pirates marathon and watched the 1st and 2nd movies again, then went to see POTC3, and I've got to say I enjoyed it much more. It helped to refresh the memory. Although I still would like to see more of Johnny's humour shine through, it was worth seeing.

Well I did see it on tuesday but to be honest, It wasn't what I expected in part... I thought that the whole trouble to find Jack would be more complicated and longer.I found kind of boring the part of the pirates lords reunion, I think It was too long, It was interesting yeah! but too long...
And the last thing I didn't like too much was that Elizabeth had too much importance in the movie when she was named queen of the pirates... Apart that, I think it was great, excellent, and the special effects were just perfect! the final fight was excellent and the betrayals were so unexpected... Johnny made a great job again (as usual) Jack Sparrow was crazier than ever! The part where he was hallucinating and he saw a lot of Jack Sparrows with him, I just couldn't stop laughing. And Keith Richards' performance was amazing! I cried a lot at the end, when Davy Jones killed Will! I just didn't expect that.. I also cry when Davy Jones cry, I Know it may be silly but he seemed so innocent! :D
I am really going to see it many times more than 3 at least! I couldn't stay after the credits, the lights of the movie theater were already turned on so I wasn't able to see the extra part that is always after them (the monkey in Pirates 1 and the dog in Pirates 2) The next time I'll go to see it I'm going to stay...

I saw the movie Friday eve - I thought Johnny did a great job and he was quite funny, especially talking to himself - however, it seemed like Johnny's excitement for the role wasn't there like in the first two - I know he enjoys the role, but still I thought there was something missing - personally - I liked the first two better.

I'm looking forward to Sweeney Todd :)

The movie was great. It had everything comedy, action, romance and betrayal. Jack was his normal nutty self which is his charm, and that's why I love him. 170 minutes where did they go ? I'm sure I was robbed because it only seemed like 60 minutes to me.

I need more, so I say bring back Jack.

Tip Top performances by all.

When he's in the cell, and there are only the like ..3 of him, I was thinking..Secret Window, anyone. Loved how crazy he was. Amazing.

THIS MOVIE WAS BITTERSWEET FOR ME. THE CHARACTERS ARE AMAZING AND THE CG IS AWESOME. THERE WERE SOME PARTS THAT WERE LONGER, BUT I THINK THEY DID A GREAT JOB BRINGING PEOPLE TO AN END, STORY LINES TIED TOGETHER. I LOVED SEEING KEITH RICHARDS! HE SURE NEEDS VERY LITTLE MAKE-UP TO PULL OFF THAT GRUNGIE PIRATE FACE!!! JOHNNY, WELL, HE IS AMAZING. THE TWISTS AND TURNS BROUGHT LAUGHTER AND I EVEN TEARED UP AT THE WILL SCENE. OVERALL, I GIVE IT THUMBS UP AND ONE MORE THING, THE MONKEY WAS ABSOLUTELY DARLING!!! LOVE PIRATES 1 2 3 AND WISHING THEY WILL DO A SEQUEL ONE DAY TO FINSIH THE TURNER FAMILY STORY!!!! Jack =] so hot =] and Keith lifted the movie, watching him at the premiere, you could see where Johnny got his inspiration, he's a fantastic actor and I can;t wait to take more friends and family. I hope they make a pirates 4, we all know johnnys up for it, I's so devo about will and elizabeth though! how sad! I LOVED THE MONKEY! he's so cute! god love little chikito;=] shes so cute.

I really enjoyed it. AWE is a much darker more full on film than the first two. You really need the humour to break up the heaviness of it all. Johnny was, as always, brilliant. I love the way Jack can just be so silly one minute and then suddenly so serious or heroic the next. It must be an aweaomw role for an actor to develop and play with... I hope he'll be back again one day in a whole new series of adventures.

It was much better than DMC; and much brighter, though I wept a couple of times.
I love the James-Bond-ish way, that Jack saves Elizabeth from The Flying Dutcman...it was so out of place!- and extremely funny..
I think, that it is quite obvious, that there will be a Pirates 4. We can't leave Captain Jack Sparrow like that... all alone in a little boat in the middle of nowhere!?
He must get his ship back - and there must be a woman for him too. - It didn't really end well for anybody - did it!
I can't feel sorry for Elizabeth though - after betraying Jack TWICE, she had it coming.

WOW! I've seen the at a Triple. So I've seen part 1 and 2 again, and finaly part 3. And it was soooooo amazing! The scene with all those Jacks at Davy Jone's Locker was great. But I don't have a favourite part of the movie, because it was great from the beginning up to the very end.

All answers were given, but I still have a question: Beckett left something on Jack and said, that Jack had left something on Beckett. But WHAT did Jack do with Beckett???

I really would like to see a 4th PotC Movie. Maybe one, where Jacks past is shown. How he lost the Pearl, was set free on the island and, of corse, what realy happened between him and Beckett.

I love the 3rd part, more like the 2nd and a little, little bit more like the 1st. Just cool: Johnny Depp, the music, the special effects...all together an unforgettable movie.

Have just seen the box office figures for this and although they obviously are good they are quite a bit below spiderman. I have posted on here before about the general lack of publicity for AWE and wonder if this has something to do with it. As far as i know there were only 2 premiers whereas i lost count of how many spiderman had and here in the uk the has been virtually no tv advertising something ive never known before for a big blockbuster. It seems like disney generally have done this film a dis-service. For the record ive seen it twice and loved it.

Hi wenches and maties,

yesterday I went to see POTC III for the 1st time and I was going: "WOOWWIIEEE" all the 170 minutes long. Especially good old Keith took my breath away and gave me the shivers... shame that we didn't see more of him! I'm sure that the interaction between Jack and his dad could have been deepened out. Anyway, I liked the girl powerrrr of Keira very much. She did a hell of a job.
And yes, the end made me a bit sad, but I know that, when Pirates IV comes out (and it surely will, mark my words!) Will and Elizabeth will end up just fine. And surely we want to see more of Captain Jack. Sometimes he was overdoing a bit, but that's just his character, eh?. His face expressions were great, and sometimes I just drowned away in them, yummie! Also Orlando has become a very fine pirate; collect them all! LOL.
Surely I will visit the cinema twice more to see this masterpiece of adventure, fun, romance and intrigues.

Blessed Be,
BeB

I cannot believe what happened AFTER the credits!! I think it should have been in the movie!!!

10 years later, the curse of Will was broken because Elizabeth was faithful to him!! Why wasn't that IN the actual movie??? I LOVED the move btw!!

But come on!! Tia Dalma/Calypso was not faithful to Davy Jones, therefore his curse was never broken. But we see Will and Elizabeths 10 year old son and on Wiki it explains that this implies how faithful she was and that the curse was lifted!

Johnny was BRILLIANT!!!!

I was sadly disappointed. I knew it was nearly impossible for me to like it better than CotBP, but I had truly thought I would find it superior to DMC. Sadly, I didn't. For me, the first two hours were a bore. The entire Sao Feng/Pirate Lords storyline was uneventful and dull. The release of Calypso was almost laughable. There is far too little of Johnny, and Jack seems to be teetering on the edge of the storyline, having not much meaningful interaction with the other characters. The multiple Jacks was funny the first time, but enough is enough. Thank goodness for the last 45 minutes with a great battle scene and effects. Was Johnny good? Of course. Was the movie? For me, sadly no. I am afraid to say that this franchise has run its course.

How do you spell WOW? P-I-R-A-T-E-S 3!!!!! It is GREAT and so much fun. So what if it is long? It didn't seem so with so much going on. I love all the characters- it was a stroke of genius putting these people together. Each one did their part perfectly. And JACK! He is so funny and wonderful-pulls it off with such finess. It surely seemed like they were hinting at another adventure with
"Fountain of Youth"- maybe to save Will and Elizabeth. Will see this at least 5 times in the theater and then starve until the DVD comes out! GO GO GO to see this film. Take a cushion if you get "rump fatigue" but NEVER let the critics keep you away. Remember Pirates 2- they said some awful things about that one and we, (the fans and general audience)made it a Billion $$ movie. The whole world loves Capt. Jack and no critic can break that. Bless you Johnny/Jack. You are loved.

The scenes were dark, too serious, and boring. The story didn't center around the main character. In fact, aside from Jack having one of the 8 pieces of 9, his character didn't even have much of a purpose. Elizabeth was the main charater of this movie.

We barely got to see any of Jack's, Pintels, or Ragetti's humor. And when we did it seemed out of place with the tone of the rest of the movie. Gibbs didn't get to tell one of his suspenseful stories, poor Norington was virtually gone from the movie altogether, and Will and Elizabeth stayed mad at eachother or apart from eachother through most of the movie then suddenly get married with no making up or anything leading up to the marriage. Everything was rushed to make room for the huge special effect scenes and the overcomlicated and overpopulated storyline.

It didn't even seem like a Pirate film. In fact, unfortunately, Jack and Barbosa seemed out of place and outdated. The fearsome and all-powerful Davy Jones was humiliated and controlled, and his death was fast and uneventful. They spent more time on Beckett's death. A little squirely guy in a wig who sips tea that although represents the East India Trading company and the end to pirate life, just doesn't stand up to Barbosa in Pirates 1 or Davy Jones in Pirate 2.

Tia Dalma turning into a huge woman was fake looking and silly. We always knew Jack was a little nutty, that's why we love him :) But they went too far in this film.

The very end of the movie when Jack is on the dock with those two girls is when we FINALLY go back to the tone of the Pirates films, unfortunately it seemd out of place with the rest of the movie. I could go on but this is long enough. I didn't want a 4th Pirate film but now I sincerely hope they make a 4th, I'd hate to see it end this way. No disrespect to the actors, they were brilliant as usual. I just feel the powers that be, whoever that may be, ruined it. This movie lacked true human emotion, humor, and story.

I loved it and I'll never tire of Johnny's wonderful acting and humor. Keith Richards was great and so was Namoie Harris as well as most of the other pirates - but- please leave Keira Knightly with her weak voice and spindly body (Is she ill?) and Orlando Bloom and his lack of personality out of the next episode. Let's hope for something like "The Further Adventures of Jack Sparrow" rather than a straight #4 with the same cast. PS The parrot and the monkey can stay though! LOL!!!

I would also like to add that with Barbosa coming back at the end of Pirates 2 I couldn't wait to see Jack's reaction to seeing him again in Pirates 3. It was virually non-existant. And that's just one example of those kind of things that were rushed or skipped over altogether. I realize that this film was the conclusion and extension of Pirates 2, but you have to treat it as it's own movie as well. On the upside, there were a few surprising twists in the movie :)

I loved it. It was more than I expected. There were surprises that I didn't expect. AWE is definitely a movie you have to see more than once to see everything. So far the best summer time movie this year. Fun, thrilling and a really good storyline. I recommend it highly. It ties up a lot of loose ends.

I thought the movie was great,it was captivating an all out best movie for the summer. My favorite part of the movie was when Jack was talking to all the many different Jacks, very funny lol!
Is it just me or was the beginning of the movie a little drag but then got very good when Jack came on the screen? All in all it was a very good movie and Can't wait till it comes out on DVD. Kim, AL

I LOVED THE MOVIE, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS TOO LONG. JOHNNY WASN'T IN IT ENOUGH, AND I BELIEVE THIS MOVIE COULD HAVE BLOWN AWAY SPIDERMAN AND SHREK, IF SOMEONE HAD SOME COMMOM SENSE IN HOLLYWOOD AND DEPP SHOULD HAVE DONE MORE PR. ON HIS PART! EVERYONE ELSE WAS ON A LATE SHOW OR SHOWED UP ON A DAY SHOW! I MEAN THE MAIN MAN IS ON THE EARLY SHOW, WHO WATCHES THAT AGAINST LENO OR LETTERMAN? SEVERAL PEOPLE MADE THE SAME MISTAKS THE IDIOTIC CRITICS COMPLAINED ABOUT A-G-A-I-N! ONE ALSO SHOULDN'T RELEASE SOMETHING OF THIS MAGNITUDE ON THE FIRST SUMMER HOLIDAY WEEKEND! I LIVE IN MI. PEOPLE GO UP-NORTH, WHERE THERE IS FEW CINEPLEXES, AND THEY DON'T GO NORTH TO SIT IN A THEATER FOR 3 HOURS! ANOTHER MISTAKE THAT COULD HAVE BEEN ALTERED! THEIR WAS SEVERAL FACTORS INVOLVED IN THE FACT IT DIDN'T MAKE RECORD NUMBERS AT THE BOX-OFFICE, SOMETHING THAT ANYONE W/ A BRAIN COULD FIGURE OUT! COME ON DISNEY? GREAT SPECAIL EFFECTS, JOHNNY WAS PERFECT AS USUAL (WHEN YOU DID GET TO SEE HIM)! THEY USED KIERA, WAY TOO MUCH IN THE 3RD INSTALLMENT! JOHNNY DEPP MAKES THIS MOVIE, NOT KIERA OR ORLANDO, OR DAVY JONES OR THE REST OF THE FAR TOO MANY CHARACTERS THAT I COULD HAVE CARED LESS TO SEE! JEFFREY RUSH WAS VERY GOOD ALSO! I'M DEPRESSED IT'S OVER, AND ALSO DEPRESSED IT DIDN'T DO AS WELL AS POTC2 AND IT COULD HAVE IF THE SUPPOSED GENIUSES IN HOLLYWOOD WOULD HAVE USED THEIR BRAINS! OH, AND JOHNNY, QUIT HIDING BEHIND THAT LONG HAIR AND THOSE BLUE GLASSES. THEY DON'T DO YOU JUSTICE! "YOUR BOSSES WANT TO SEE YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE"! THAT'S AN ORDER CAP'T SPARROW! STOP THE HIDING GAME! YOUR PLATINUM, HONEY!

I liked it the first time, I loved it the second time and the third time I adore it. Like 1 and 2 it is a must to see again and again. And the theater experience on all of these movies is a must. It pulls all the movies and the ride together and gets us ready to set sail again in the future. Go back and see it over again, so Disney sees fit to make at least one or two more. I hope if it goes to Broadway..Johnny gets the nod to be a singing Jack Sparrow. Yo Ho All Together Xo

i cant believe i didnt stay till the end of the titles... im going to go back now... but maybe not for another week or so... i actually watched it on the 24th... i had tickets to the 8 o'clock showing but didnt get the tickets signed and had to get them refunded for the 9 o'clock showing. i serioulsy hope that johnny gets an academy award for this one he really deserves it. i actually agree with some people this movie wasnt as twisted as the first one but still had me sittin on the edge of my seat and biting my nails the whole time. the special effects and sound effects were the best! i could not believe it... my ears are still not as good as they used to be before the movie... no there does not need to be a pirates 4 it would be a waste of time and money i wouldnt watch it... my friend cried so much that will died but i dont care about will i care about jack.

I like it very very much, but not so much as the others two films... I think it was well directed, but I expected more comedy. I think the producers have intended to make this more "epic" than the first ones... but here in Brazil it is being a great success!!!

I believe the first one was better Don't get me wrong I love this one and will go see it again .I was glad to see Barbosa again Of course Jack was great but something was missing I don/t know it seemed to me they were all just acting out their parts A story line didn,t seem to be there I don't care for Elizabeth but I felt sorry for her Alone without will .

I am a HUGE Johnny fan. However, I thought POTC 3 was not great. I thought there could have been a lot more better things to do with Jack. It was too "rambling" and crazy (Very Secret windowish....been there....done that). I am glad I didnt take my little girl to see it. It was a little to depressing and dark. It to me did not follow the theme of the first 2 at all. I think the hanging of the child at the begining was a little weird for a Disney movie. An adult could have been used just as easily. I think some of the Disney "magic" was lost on this one.

i liked it the first time and loved it the second time.

it's a terribly complex plot that brings in new elements while wrapping up the old loose ends. that's amazing!!

i loved the parlay scene. i loved all the references to past pirates movies. i loved the scene where jack grabs elizabeth and parachutes off the flying dutchman. i love the pirate flag with the little red sparrow in the corner on jack's little dinghy.

the outstanding performances were jack's, hector's, bootstrap's, tia dalma's, and jack the monkey's. i loved seeing norrington and that weaselly creature lord cutler beckett, the best villain in a long time. also, showing the french pirate lord as a complete made-up puff ball was inspired.

I saw it for the 2nd time last night...it's a good thing to since I forgot to stay for the scene after the credits the 1st time. I was worried about what it was gonna be like but I absolutely loved it. I was a little disappointed by the fact that Will and Elizabeth didn't exactly end up living happily ever after, but I guess it's good it didn't have one of those cliche endings. All in all Johnny and the rest of the cast both new and old were great. Loved it!

If you read on Wikepedia about the movie - there was a scene removed where tia Dalma explains that Davy Jones could have left his duty following 10 years and so Will may be able to leave his.......
Enjoyed the movie....Will see it again - Nothing will beat Curse of the Black Pearl - but this was better than Dead Man's chest!

I so loved the show and as always Johnny Depp was great. I loved the battle with the 2 ships and really finding out about Tia Dalma. I was an extremely funny and romantic movie. I can not see why some of the critics could not keep up with the movie to me it was not hard at all..

I have seen it, of course. As any decent Johnny fan has by now. It took me a really long time to decide whether I liked it or not, but I did. It was good. It wasn't as good as the first two, but it was good nonetheless. I'm hearing multiple rumors about a fourth. . . I really hope they don't. As much as I love my pirate movies, I think that they should just quit while they're ahead.

Yes i loved it, my favourite of the series actually. I actually liked all the characters in this movie (so glad barbossas back) will found his place i thought and Jack...dear old jack, it wouldnt be the best movie ever without him.
I've seen it twice and i hope to see it again but its unlikely so instead i will get the soundtrack then wait for the DVD.hehe.
It helps when you watch both one and two before you see three, i found it made alot more sense the second time around.
i just wish the critics would get off the movies back, they dont seem to like pirates much and say it lacks in everything its just using the title to suck more money out of it. annoys me, it was a great movie one of which that can be enjoyed numerous times and each time you'll pick up something new.
totally love it...will see it again, so hope the DVD has heaps of extras LOL

I've seen At World's End twice, once at the midnight showing on Thursday night, then again on Sunday. Although I thought it was an amazing movie both times, I definitely enjoyed it more the second time, as I was able to understand more thoroughly and notice some things I hadn't initially picked up on. Wonderful performances from all the actors; I was especially happy to see Keith Richards as Captain Teague. For the most part, I was happy with the ending, and Will certainly looked gorgeous as Captain of the Flying Dutchman. However, I was actually quite upset by the deaths of Governor Swann and Norrington. At least Mullroy & Murtog (everyone's favorite navalmen) became pirates in the end! While I can only hope that a fourth installment will be made, I have my doubts about some of the cast coming back for another go. Since Johnny seems open to it, I'd love to see a prequel, perhaps one exploring the father-son relationship between Jack and Captain Teague, and how he became the notorious Captain Jack Sparrow that we all know and love. I can honestly say that POTC3 not only met, but exceeded my expectations, and I'm definitely hoping for lots of exciting extras on the DVD!

My God, Pirates 3 is amazing, for all you pirates out there, you have got to see this film. Out of all three films, this one has got to be my favorite. Johnny portrays Captain Jack so well, he continues with his hilarious outbursts and makes the audience laugh even more than in the other Pirates of The Caribbean films. This is a must see movie, so if you haven't already seen it. What are you waiting for? Get moving!

I loved it. I saw it on the 25th and I want to go and see it several more times. Everyone was great and Johnny outdid himself again. I REALLY liked when he was talking to all of his other selves. Funny!! The ending was great (leaving it open for a possible fourth). All of the actors were amazing and everyone must stay after the credits for a little extra scene.

I liked it. Nothing is as good as the first but deffinatly better than the second. WHAT WAS WITH TIA DELMA?? That was sooo out of place when she grew into a giant! Jack was as funny as ever. Expecially when he was insane. I especially love the refrences to the first moveie. They brought back the 2 soldiers and jack is like "dont u have someplace to be?" Just like the first. When jack saw a lot of himself i laughed so hard. Expecially with the goat!!!

To my mind, far better than the 2nd and (surprisingly so) better than the 1st one too. Unusual and really great humor - instead of playing around with the remakes of the old jokes like in the 2nd one - the movie was really funny; and it made more sense than the other two. Like the main theme - the capitalist, buy-and-sell new world (East India Trading company) against the simple and free life of the earlier days (the pirates). It was much more realistic than the other two, with all the pirates behaving like pirates, children being hanged for piracy-related crimes, and the fact that one pirate ship can't combat the hundred ships of the East India Trading company, unless the sea itself stands with them (think Die Hard... Bruce would have whiped all the ships off the face of the ocean single-handedly).
All in all the third one breaks your heart and leaves you unwilling to live in the modern world anymore, an effect unexpectedly powerful.

well my sister didn't like so much will an elizabeth but it was good anyway. i liked the new expressions jack used and also wonder if the little boy in the end and the one they hung in the start was played by the same boy? i think they should of not used the little boy with braces as they didn't wear them then. what is the background/story on him? who's little boy was he? i think this is a movie with a message 'cuz i couldn't help but think about pres. bush and the usa when they started talking about the rights they were doing away with! wow! way to go johnny!!!

Well, the acting was amazing, as usual, but the story line was really confusing. There were too many subplots to keep track of, and it was tiring to try and follow everything that was happening. Not enough of Jack. It really seemed that Elizabeth had the biggest part in this movie. The jokes got kind of old, to tell the truth. Was kind of dissappointed.

Unfortunatly, we didn't stay through the credits so I have no idea what they last scene was. Could someone who has seen the movie please post and tell me what happened? I know someone posted somewhere else that Will had the last scene! I have been dying to know what happens!

Also, Johnny was great, as always! I loved this one, but I think Dead Man's Chest is my fave of all 3! I would love it if they did a 4th but somehow I doubt they will. Oh well, Johnny is still the best! :)

I wasn't impressed,Being a huge Johnny Depp fan why did he not appear until 45 mins into the blooming thing. And no way should it be that Keira Knightly be made captain of a ship over Barbossa,Jack Sparrow, and even Will Turner.

The best thing about the movie was Keith Richards Performance and the humour.

Too long and not enough captain Jack. It's like the writers are running out of ideas and are thinking of anything to shock the audience.

I definatley think that Pirates has lost it's magic and has sold out.
