Forbes Celebrity 100 List
Forbes has ranked Johnny Depp at #6 on their 2007 Celebrity 100, the annual list of 100 most powerful and best-paid celebrities. This is a major change from last year, when he came in at #27.
Thanks to his share in the box office gross of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, actor Johnny Depp made $92 million in the last 12 months, more than most any other actor has ever earned for a film role. (Mel Gibson made $184 million in 2004 from The Passion of the Christ, but as the producer and director.)

#6?!?!?!?!? He should be #1!! who got first...i bet they aren't even half as good as Johnny...i'm mad he should've got way better than 6th at least 2nd if not 1st...

SUCH BOOTY MAN! #6 ON SOME CRAZY LIST BUT #1 WITH HIS FANS. THE $$$ IS JUST A FOREGONE CONCLUSION. I JUST HOPE JOHNNY INVESTS HIS MOOLAH WELL, AND DOES WITH IT WHAT WILL MAKE HIM HAPPY, AND NOT SUBVERT HIS LONGTIME HELD VALUES.

OBVIOUSLY SWEENEY WILL NOT BE G RATED, HOWEVER, HOPEFULLY THIS WILL MAKE THE GENERAL PUBLIC EAGER TO SEE WHAT ELSE JOHNNY HAS IN STORE FOR THEM. HIS FANS FIGURED THIS ALL OUT YEARS AGO. I've once read somewhere that Johnny finds these types of ratings quite funny...
Personally, I would too I think... It's a race to see who has how much dough. Seriously, once u reach that type of level, does it even matter if u're 1st, 2nd or 6th? We're talking hundreds of millions of dollars... it's mind-boggling!
One thing for sure though... his gratefulness to his fans hasn't changed a bit no matter how much money he makes, and that is truly amazing of him.

I think johnny being no.6 is brilliant. As part of the rating is how much publicity you get, im sure that means johnny would rather be no.6 than no.1. But whatever number he is, hes my no.1 xxxxxx
I checked out Forbes and how they work it is the reason Brad Pitt is #5 and our Johnny is #6 is the media ranking. How much more they've been in the media. And we all know Brad Pitt has been on tv news just about every single day. I'm really tired of it. I'd love to see more Johnny!! I'm glad he made more than Pitt. It was well deserved!! But realistically, Johnny could care less about lists and polls. Makes him so much more endearing.

I freaked when I saw that magazine! My friend and I were on our eigth grade trip to washington D.C. and we were dropped off to have lunch at the mall, so when we were done with lunch we went to a book store to see if we could find any magazines with Johnny on the cover (yes, we do that a lot). Anyway, we nearly died when we saw this one. We found like four with him on the cover, and two with Orlando. lol. Yeah, I know we're insane. :D
