Hats off to Johnny Depp for taking the #1 spot for most fashionable celebrity hat-wearing males in 2007. (Slow news day... LOL) As reported by Metro.co.uk, the annual list is compiled by the Luton area's millinery and hat-making industry in the UK.
Johnny came in at #1 on the list, followed by Justin Timberlake, David Beckham, Boy George and Prince Harry.

You are right - watched Secret Window last night and no matter how messed up he looked - he looked great! In fact we laughed the more messed up he got! I apologize I don't know the actor's name who played Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - but I heard him quoted as saying Johnny was better than Chocolate - that about sums it up!!! I think this was a re-run, but he was also named VH1's hottest male of the hottest 40 over-40s. Only behind Demi Moore ?! ? Very weird. Terri Hatcher got this long thing but they get to #1 man Johnny and his segment was about half as long. What a rip-off! Honest to God, they just don't know how to say anything original about him. At least Brad Pitt was knocked down to 5 or 6 where he belongs! (Just saw the Jump St. episode with BP in it--boy was he SO NOT cute. Just weird looking compared to JD:)
That scene in Secret Window where he's eating Dorito's on the couch with his hair standing straight up makes me laugh every time. What a doll.

Agreed yaridepp i dont usually like guys in hats but johhny, as usual, looks gorgeous and cool in them. But then he looks gorgeous and cool in anything and everything!!

I used to wear hats all the time - and it's true - no matter what you put on Johnny or take off for that matter :) he looks just great! I almost bought a Captain Jack Sparrow savvy hat to wear to Disney for the Premier but I settled for the Savvy t-shirt- HA! I think I will start to wear hats again - in tribute to Johnny. Val, NJ
