Knightley Finds Depp Masterful
TLT News offers a snippet of an Empire Magazine article with Keira Knightley in which she discusses the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and her current work on a film called Atonement:
“This is such a relief. Not that I don’t enjoy all that Pirates stuff, but it’s not about my character – it’s about Johnny’s character. It’s not focusing on emotional turmoil. It’s been great just to get my brain engaged.”She also talks briefly about the appeal of working with Johnny Depp:
“I love to watch Johnny work, as it’s masterful. It’s like taking an acting master class."

She is a smart girl that Kiera... a master class is damn right!
Anyone have a chance to work with Johnny Depp they sure are Lucky.That would be a dream come true.
Excuse me the whole pirate movie at least the last one was all about her,even the very, very ,very end. Ten years later. Sorry honey but the world does not revolve around you. John does deserve some credit, he has been at it longer. The younger ones seem to thinks instant gradifiaction on every thing, you earn it. John has earned it.
Does she really leave the movies because she doesn't get enough attention? - or have I got something wrong?
Even Ted and Terri say the Pirates movies are about Miss Knightley's character. They also said in an interview I recently read that she is thier favorite to work with. This surprised me, without Mr. Depp there would have been no Pirates.
If you think about it, the whole series revolves around her. Even as a little girl in the first scene, Elizabeth was the one who saw Will and took the medallion. And I could go on and on about other important contributions she's made to the plot, but I dont have that much time.
But I will say this: A fourth one will if it does not include Johnny, Orlando, or Keira. I really hope if they decide to do more, all three of them sign up for it.
I don't Keira really gets how important she is to the trilogy(or as it is commonly called, "the franchise"
