POTC3 Hits $750 Million
BoxOfficeMojo is reporting Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End reached a worldwide gross of $750,687,300 as of Tuesday, which includes a record opening day in China. ChinaDaily was reporting the film hitting the $500 million mark, but they apparently hadn't included the U.S. totals. (Thanks, Patricia!)

According to MOJO it's now well over $750 million all in.
im not suprised that it got to 750 million coz its a great movie.
Surely these figures answer the debate as to wether there will be another pirates movie? OR maybe they should finish on a high?

I guess I've contributed to that total 'cause I've seen it at least five times and will again. I've gotten the CD which is really great and can't seem to get the music out of my head...and it makes me want to see the film again. BRAVO to all but especially the man that made it happen...the one and only Cap'n Jack

I just got the soundtrack,Jacks' theme,as always is there,but I feel I like it much better than Dead Mans' Chest,which seems to go by quickly,and Pirates 3's music really inspires me, at a higher level. Thank you Hans Zimmer!!
I've got all the cds and the game and going a 3rd time this week - can't wait !!!! We've gotta keep going - I'd feel guilty if I didn't. I also can't wait til the DVD comes out!!! Val NJ
Oh yeah,this film is THE BEST!!!Sorry,this trilogy is the best!!!:DD I love all the movies!!!Jerry B and Gore V is a genius,together with the writers,Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio(really a great story;))But the people love this film at first for Jack Sparrow,the best pirate in history!:)) Johnny Depp 4ever!!!

Congrat pirates you deserve it. For the record i havent seen spiderman but my teenage son and his girlfriend have and it sent them both to sleep!!!!

If you don't have the soundtracks from all 3 movies, that's what you're missing. If you have them, you're not missing a thing. All 3 are Great!

I love this movie. The locations are gorgeous. The soundtrack is really great. I hope they continue to make more Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I've seen it twice & hope to see it again before it leaves the theaters. I will get the movie when it comes out on cd, but you must see this movie on the big screen.
