Sweeney 'Unlikely' at Comic-Con

Rumors have been circulating that Tim Burton might present clips of the upcoming Sweeney Todd film at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend. But according to Playbill, it is still too early for clips to be released.

Despite reports that the film would reveal clips or a poster at the California event (July 26-29), the sneak peek of the anticipated movie musical may have to wait, according to a rep.

"The latest is that there will likely not be anything at Comic-Con," DreamWorks Studios spokesperson Marvin Levy told Playbill.com. "It's too early. If a poster had been ready, that would have been the time to reveal it."

Noting the expected release, he added, "It's still a long way to December."
