Best Dressed Goes to...

As reported in the New York Daily News, Johnny Depp made the top 5 in People Magazine's list of Best Dressed Males for their upcoming Best Dressed/Worst Dressed issue.

BEST DRESSED MEN
  • David Beckham
  • George Clooney
  • Johnny Depp
  • Terrence Howard
  • Brad Pitt
It's a strange honor considering he usually ends up on the opposite end of stuff like this for his unique sense of style. That can only mean one of two things: Either Johnny paid off the People staff, or they've finally come to realize what the rest of us knew a long time ago -- that Johnny looks good in anything.

Well said.trish!!!Its amazing that he should come up the pole..even though the clothes he wears sometimes are years old!!!I believe the outfit at Venice is a bit from the white suit that he wore for the childrens fund and the trousers from a black suit he wore to Cannes..i may be wrong but but what a combo!!! He seems Johnny can do not wrong..and its about time too...

I wonder what he'll do to get himself off the best-dressed list... this represents just about everything he seems to reject.

I wish I could be like Johnny and look good in anything. I bought a beautiful skirt/dress made of indian silk. You can wear it 35 different ways by wrapping it and tying it around you different ways. I was upset to find it only looks good on me a couple of ways. Other ways I either resemble an ugly lamp shade or a vanilla ice cream melting out of a cone!

I agree with everyone else here, but I do think he's gotten a little more "stylish" (for lack of a better word!) since he's been hanging around a beautiful French girl named Vanessa!

Johnny's style is so unique and soo cool. If the media is finally taking note of this then I hope that doesn't mean there will be copy cats.

Ummm duh, I thought everyone knew that muddy combat boots and a plaid shirt tied around the waist was super cool! These people must be slow in the head since it took them that long... poor them... oh well, I think we can forgive them.

try to copycat all they want - they can never duplicate Johnny! He is his own person, uniquely individual and quite special - - I'm so glad for him that someone is finally taking notice - even though it really doesn't matter - Johnny will be Johnny no matter what! Thank God! Val, NJ

Anything... and nothing.... and everything in between... haha.

Bugger tho, that if i go out looking even remotely as free-spirited and just-out-of-bed-ish as JD, I get weird looks and my mother asks if I honestly left looking like that.

I guess we need to get on a most sexy list before we can do that... hehe.

His 7th grade yearbook was for sale on ebay on 9-30-7 that included verbage to the owner "Jackie, Thanks for all the things that I needed. Love, John Depp". I bid on the yearbook but unfortunately I finished 2nd in the bidding.
