Johnny Interviewed for Guinness
The 2008 edition of Guinness World Records was released Sept. 28 and, according to their press release, includes exclusive interviews with Johnny Depp and J.K. Rowling.

I've never doubted one minute that one day all the movies which made no $$ at least according to Hollywood,for Johnny made no difference to him, and eventually the payback would show itself like it is now. Whatever millions he makes he deserves every cent.
But as humans go on this planet,he's worth more to me than just knowing he's popular or powerful, I value him for the standards he's evolved to himself, and the great personality he projects. So much so when my work at my hospital gets me depressed, I go home and watch about 3-4 DVD's and my spirits are lifted again. Not many if ANY ACTORS, emulate such chemistry on screen to people, Thank you God for Johnny Depp.
That's awesome! I can't believe it, I was in the book shop today, holding that book in my hand, and Johnny's name was in it! Unfortuantely, I didn't have enough money with me to buy it at the time, but I'm definetely getting it now! I have a couple anyway, you can read them for hours :)

you guys are all scary. I think Mr. Depp is a great actor and very hot but have you ever read anything he's written? Maybe you should value yourself first. He's just a guy with good genes.

The first time I saw Johnny Depp I thought, well...ok, another "pretty boy", but I have to say that I was SO MAJORLY WRONG! With time he shown the world that he is a GREAT ACTOR WHO DOESN'T CARE HOW HE LOOKS IN THE ROLES HE PLAYS, contrary to all the other "pretty boys" of Hollywood, like Brad Pitt, or guys like that, who care so much about always looking nice and clean and pretty. Johnny is a GREAT ACTOR who happens to be handsome and he doesn't need to look good all the time to know it, he doesn't care about those things. He cares about HIS ACTING, WHICH IS SUPERB!

Who cares about that golden statue?, our beloved Johnny dont need it. He is the best actor ever, nobody can act like him. I mean he dont need to cry to show pain, and with a little gesture he can make you understand his caracter's feellings, for me thats act. I think Johnny is an Artist in every content of the world, and not everybody has the sensibility needed to appreciate a good piece of real, high quality art. Girls excuse me please if said something wrong, English is not my first language, it is Spanish. I live in Puerto Rico.
I was never into any particular actors until I discovered JD. After having watched most of the movies he's been in & reading & watching everything about him I can I think the thing that impresses me most about him is that he truly is in the acting business because of his love for the craft. And with him it really is a craft & an art form. He doesn't say yes to being in any films that don't move him in some way & he's not out to make big bucks. Each role he's played has been unique & special and he's chosen those roles very carefully. The roles he's best in are those that allow him to use his innate creativity & in which he has full power to do as he likes with the character or person. He is a very humble man who has remained true to himself & his beliefs in a business that too often turns people into greedy, money hungry vultures. I don't want to put him on too high of a pedestal because he is only human, but he's a fine human who deserves much more respect than he's gotten over the years. Not that he cares but I think his fans would like to see more respect!!
